NHS Prescriptions

Weston Pharmacy offers both low price NHS and Private Prescription pharmaceutical products delivered to your door. We have access to thousands of prescription medicines available in the UK just like you would find in any High Street Pharmacy .

Weston Pharmacy process both NHS and Private Prescriptions, giving you your medicine at excellent prices. We send them directly to your home or office through the post.

Our fully qualified pharmacists will check your order and make sure your medicine is suitable, so you receive the same high standard of care as in a pharmacy on the High Street.

We are members of two professional associations: the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, and the National Pharmaceutical Association. This means you can trust our staff to be qualified and knowledgeable.

Private Prescriptions

Private prescriptions are written on headed paper and can be written by any UK registered prescriber, such as your G.P. They are not written on the green NHS form.

In order to supply your medicine, we will need to tell you the price.

Please phone us on: 020 8472 5290 or email us on:  info@westonpharmacy.co.uk with the following information:

We will need to know:

  • The name of the medicine (such as amoxicillin or Viagra),
  • The type of medicine (such as tablets or liquid),
  • The strength of medicine (such as micrograms or milligrams)
  • The quantity (such as 28 tablets or 2 boxes).

As soon as we have this information, we will quote a highly competitive price to you. Then to receive the medicines, you must post the prescription and payment to us, and we will post the medicines to you as soon as possible.

If your order costs over £10 then postage is free, otherwise there is a small charge.

You should post the prescription, and a cheque for payment, to:

Weston Pharmacy
3 St Stephens Parade
Green Street
Forest Gate
London
E7 8LQ

Please note, we are not allowed to dispense any controlled drugs by post. We also cannot send medicines which need to be refrigerated.

NHS PRESCRIPTIONS

We can dispense and send out all NHS Prescriptions within 48 hours of receipt (so you would usually receive your medicine within 3 days of posting it to us). This is a free service. However, if your medicines need to be refrigerated, there will be a small charge to pay.

STEP ONE

You must have a valid NHS Prescription – these are usually green in colour. You must fill in the back of the form by writing your name and address and signing where indicated. If you do not pay for your prescriptions, then you should also tick the relevant box on the back of the form.

STEP TWO

Put your prescription in an envelope and send it to us with the correct payment amount, or proof that you do not have to pay.
If you pay for your medicines, then you must pay the NHS fee of £6.40 per item. For example, if there are two items on your prescription you pay £12.80, and three items would cost £19.20. Please write a cheque for the full amount – do not send cash. If you do not pay for your medicines, please send proof of this with your prescription. We will send your document back with your medicines. If you do not have proof, don’t worry, we can still send your medicine – however we will have to state on the back of your prescription that we have not seen your evidence.

Send the prescription, together with your payment or proof that you do not have to pay, to this address:

Weston Pharmacy
3 St Stephens Parade
Green Street
Forest Gate
London
E7 8LQ

STEP THREE

When we receive your prescription through the post, we will process it and send you your medicines within 48 hours. We are only allowed to dispense prescriptions written by UK registered prescribers – this means that your prescription must have been written by someone officially allowed to do so, such as your G.P.

STEP FOUR

You will receive your medicine through the post. Usually, it should arrive within 3 days, but if the post is delayed for any reason, it might come later. If you are a local customer and you wish to collect your medicine at our pharmacy in person and to pay for it at that time, we will have it ready for you. When you send the prescription to us, please tell us the date and time that you would like to collect it, instead of sending a cheque.

    Enquiry Form

Please note, we are not allowed to dispense any controlled drugs by post. We also cannot send medicines which need to be refrigerated.

Please check that all details are correct to avoid delays.

    Thank you.
